'Faaip De Oiad' by Tool
'Faaip De Oiad'
by Tool

I, I don't have a whole lot of time. um, ok, I'm a former employee of area 51. i, I was let go on a medical discharge about a week ago and, and... [chokes] I've kind of been running across

Country. damn, I don't know where to start, they're, they're gonna, um, they'll triangulate on this position really soon.

Ok, um, um, ok, what we're thinking of as, as aliens, they're extradimensional beings, that, an earlier precursor of the, um, space program they made contact with. they are not what they claim t

Uh, they've infiltrated a, a lot of aspects of, of, of the military establishment, particularly the area 51.

The disasters that are coming, they, the military, I'm sorry, the government knows about them. and there's a lot of safe areas in this world that they could begin moving the population to now. t

Re not! they want those major population centers wiped out so that the few that are left will be more easily controllable.

This isn't a textbook example of a song but I decided to post it anyway.

The voice in this song was taken from an episode of the radio show 'Coast to Coast AM' wih Art Bell from the late 90's (A show which I have been on twice!)

But Mr. Bell was having a call-in show about Area 51 and this call came in and was really saying these things (though the creepy music was later added for this song) and then his phone cut out and the show went off of the air for something like 30 minutes.

The man called back in a few weeks and claimed that it was a hoax and appologized for it be the show being 'removed' from the air has never been explained.

This track has always creeped me out, though, even before I knew it was an actual phone call. But knowing that it was really an actual phone call and knowing what happened once it was made makes it extra freaky.

To find a station in your area to listen to this radio show, go to Coasttocoastam.com anc click on affiliates.

And for the record, this post and those from here on out until I note otherwise are being posted on 4/6/2006.

'Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye' by Steam
'Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Himm Goodbye'
by Steam

He'll never love you
The way that I love you
Cause if he did
No, no
He wouldn't make you cry
He might be thrilling
Baby
But a-my love
(My love
My love)
So dog-gone willing
So kiss him
(I wanna see you
Kiss him
Wanna see you
Kiss him)
Go on and kiss him
Goodbye
Now

Na na na na
Hey, Hey
Goodbye
Na na na na
Na na na na
Hey, Hey,
Goodbye

Listen to me
Now

He's never near you
To comfort and cheer you
When all those sad tears
Are falling, baby
From your eyes
He might be thrilling
Baby
But a-my love
(My love
My love)
So dog-gone willing
So kiss him
(I wanna see you
Kiss him
I wanna see you
Kiss him)
Go on and kiss him
Goodbye

Na na na na na na
Na na na na
Hey hey
Goodbye

Hey hey-ey, goodbye
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye

I really like this song though I wouldn't say I love it. The lyrics are really great and all but I guess I've just heard it too much.

But no matter, it is a classic and I'll always like it a lot.

'Tonight, Tonight' by The Smashing Pumpkins
'Tonight, Tonight'
by The Smashing Pumpkins

Time is never time at all
You can never ever leave without leaving a piece of youth
And our lives are forever changed
We will never be the same
The more you change the less you feel
Believe, believe in me, believe
That life can change, that you're not stuck in vain
We're not the same, we're different tonight

Tonight, so bright
Tonight
And you know you're never sure
But you're sure you could be right
If you held yourself up to the light

And the embers never fade in your city by the lake
The place where you were born
Believe, believe in me, believe
In the resolute urgency of now
And if you believe there's not a chance tonight

Tonight, so bright tonight
We'll crucify the insincere tonight
We'll make things right, we'll feel it all tonight
We'll find a way to offer up the night tonight
The indescribable moments of your life tonight
The impossible is possible tonight
Believe in me as I believe in you, tonight

I have the difficult task of now trying to put into words the things I feel about this song and it isn't possible. I've been in awe of it since I first heard it back in the mid 90's. The video is also incredible but there is something I can't fully wrap my head around about this song.

Brilliant.

'Zero' by The Smashing Pumpkins
'Zero'
by The Smashing Pumpkins

My reflection, dirty mirror
There's no connection to myself
I'm your lover, I'm your zero
I'm the face in your dreams of glass
So save your prayers
For when you're really gonna need 'em
Throw out your cares and fly
Wanna go for a ride?

She's the one for me
She's all I really need
Cause she's the one for me
Emptiness is loneliness, and loneliness is cleanliness
And cleanliness is godliness, and god is empty just like me

Intoxicated with the madness, I'm in love with my sadness
Bullshit fakers, enchanted kingdoms
The fashion victims chew their charcoal teeth
I never let on, that I was on a sinking ship
I never let on that I was down
You blame yourself, for what you can't ignore
You blame yourself for wanting more

She's the one for me
She's all I really need
She's the one for me
She's my one and only

I love this band in an incredible way around '95 or '96 and I'm certainly not ashamed of it. Their music is still great and I still love it.

This song is about wasting time praying essentially.

'N.I.B.' by Black Sabbath
'N.I.B.'
by Black Sabbath

Some people say my love cannot be true
please believe me, my love, and I'll show you
I will give you those things you thought unreal
The sun, the moon, the stars all bear my seal

Oh yeah!

Follow me now and you will not regret
leaving the life you led before we met
You are the first to have this love of mine
forever with me 'till the end of time

Your love for me has just got to be real
before you know the way I'm going to feel
I'm going to feel
I'm going to feel

Oh yeah!

Now I have you with me, under my power
Our love grows stronger now with every hour
Look into my eyes, you will see who I am
my name is Lucifer, please take my hand

In this song, Satan is seducing a woman to try to get at her soul.

Strangely enough, though, the song is rather poetic (at first at least) and pretty damned sweet.

'Fernando' by ABBA
'Fernando'
by ABBA

Can you hear the drums, Fernando?
I remeber long ago another starry night with you.
In the firelight, Fernando;
You were humming to yourself and softly strumming your guitar.
I could hear the distant drums and sounds of bugle calls were coming from afar.
They were closer now, Fernando.
Every hour, every minute seemed to last eternally.
I was so afraid, Fernando.
We were young and full of life and none of us could bear to die.
And I'm not ashamed to say the roar of guns and cannons almost made me cry.

There was something in the air that night, the stars were bright, Fernando.
They were shining there for you and me, for liberty, Fernando.
Though we never thought that we could lose, there's no regret.
If I had to do the same again, I would my friend, Fernando.
If I had to do the same again, I would my friend, Fernando.

Now wer'e old and gray, Fernando.
Since many years I haven't seen a rifle in your hand.
Can you hear the drums, Fernando?
Do you still recall the fateful night we crossed the Rio Grande?
I can see it in your eyes how right we were to fight for freedom in this land.

There was something in the air that night, the stars were bright, Fernando.
They were shining there for you and me, for liberty, Fernando.
Though we never thought that we could lose, there's no regret.
If I had to do the same again, I would my friend, Fernando.

There was something in the air that night, the stars were bright, Fernando.
They were shining there for you and me, for liberty, Fernando.
Though we never thought that we could lose, there's no regret.
If I had to do the same again, I would my friend, Fernando.
Yes, if I had to do the same again, I would my friend, Fernando.
If I had to do the same again, I would my friend, Fernando...

This is one of my favorite songs from a great disco band (those two words are rare to be heard together).

But if you've ever heard it I'm sure you know what I mean.

'Free As a Bird' by The Beatles
'Free As a Bird'
by The Beatles

Free As A Bird,
It's the next best thing to be
Free as a bird.
Home
Home and dry
Like a homing bird I fly,
As a bird on wing

Whatever happened to the life that we once knew
Can we really live without each other?
Where did we lose the touch
That seemed to mean so much?
It always made me feel so....

Free -- as a bird,
It's the next best thing to be
Free as a bird.
Home
Home and dry
Like a homing bird I fly--as bird on wing

Whatever happened to the life that we once knew
It always made me feel soooo
Free

Free as a bird
It's the next best thing to be
Free as a bird
Free as a bird
Free as a bird

I love everything about this song.

It was released in the 90's but contains all Beatles. John's vocals were from a demo he had done. There was another song done the same way I just don't recall what it was.

'Fairies Wear Boots' by Black Sabbath
'Fairies Wear Boots'
by Black Sabbath

Goin' home
Late last night
Suddenly
I got a fright
Yeah
I looked throughout the window
And surprised what I saw
Fairy boots were dancing' with a dwarf
All right now!

Fairies wear boots
And you gotta believe me
Yeah
I saw it
I saw it
I tell you no lies
Yeah
Fairies wear boots
And you gotta believe me
I saw it, I saw it
With my own two eyes
Well, all right now!

So I went to the doctor
See what he could give me
He said
"Son, son,
You've gone too far
Cause smokin' and trippin'
Is all that you do"

Something about this song has always interested me. It seems so silly in some ways but sort of dark in others.

No matter as I love it.

'Chantilly Lace' by The Big Bopper
'Chantilly Lace'
by The Big Bopper

(telephone rings)
Hello baby, Yeah, this is the Big Bopper speakin
Ha ha ha ha ha, oh you sweet thing
Do I what?
Will I what?
Oh baby you know what I like

CHORUS: Chantilly lace and a pretty face
And a pony tail a hangin down
That wiggle in the walk
And giggle in the talk
Makes the world go round
There ain't nothin in the world
Like a big eyed girl
That makes me act so funny
Make me spend my money
Make me feel real loose like a long necked goose
Like a girl, oh baby that's what I like

What's that baby, but, but, but
Ohhhhhh honey
But?.oh baby you know what I like

CHORUS

What's that honey
Pick you up at 8 and don't be late
But baby, I ain't got no money honey
Ha ha ha ha ha
Oh alright baby, you know what I like

CHORUS

I really love this song! Its really short but its so catchy and just... great.

The Big Bopper was one of those killed in the plain crash on 'the day the music died'.

This post and others following were all posted on 4/5/2006 until otherwise noted.

'Photographs' by Nickelback
'Photographs'
by Nickelback

Look at this photograph,
Every time I do it makes me laugh,
How did our eyes get so red,
And what the hell is on Joey's head'

This is where I grew up,
I think the present owner fixed it up,
I never knew we ever went without,
The second floor is hard for sneakin' out.

And this is where I went to school,
Most of the time had better things to do,
Criminal record says I broke in twice,
I must've done it half a dozen times.

I wonder if it's too late,
Should I go back and try to graduate'
Life's better now than it was back then,
If I was them I wouldn't let me in.

Oh, oh, oh...
Oh, God I...

Every memory of lookin' out the back door,
I have the photo album spread out on my bedroom floor,
It's hard to say it, time to say it,
Goodbye, goodbye.

Every memory of walkin' out the front door,
I found the photo of the person that I was lookin' for,
It's hard to say it, time to say it.
Goodbye, goodbye.

We used to listen to the radio,
And sing along with every song we know.
We said someday we'd find out how it feels,
To sing to more than just the steering wheel.

Kim's the first girl I kissed,
I was so nervous that I nearly missed.
She's had a couple of kids since then,
I haven't seen her since God knows when.

Oh, oh, oh...
Oh, God I...

Every memory of lookin' out the back door,
I have the photo album spread out on my bedroom floor,
It's hard to say it, time to say it.
Goodbye, goodbye.

Every memory of walkin' out the front door,
I found the photo of the person that I was lookin' for,
It's hard to say it, time to say it.
Goodbye, goodbye.

I miss that town, I can't believe it,
So hard to stay, too hard to leave it.

If I could relive those days,
I know the one thing that would never change.

Look at this photograph,
Every time I do it makes me laugh.
Every time I do it makes me...

I'm not a fan of pop-rock by any means but I like this band and this song.

As I'm sure many of use do, I often miss my past and I have pictures there to remind me of those times. I know the song is about missing the past and moving on but I often think that I've reached my 'point of deminishing return' in most parts of my life and it makes me sad.

This song is the poopies, though.

This song is the last one posted on 3/22/2006.

'The Wind Cries Mary' by Jimi Hendrix
'The Wind Cries Mary'
by Jimi Hendrix

After all the jacks are in their boxes
And the clowns have all gone to bed
You can hear happiness staggering on down the street
Footprints dressed in red
And the wind whispers "Mary"

A broom is drearily sweeping
Up the broken pieces of yesterdays life
Somewhere a queen is weeping
And somewhere a king has no wife
And the wind cries "Mary"

The traffic light said turn on blue tomorrow
And shine the emptiness down on my head
The tiny island sags downstream
Cause the life that lived is dead
And the wind screams "Mary"

Will the wind ever remember
The names it has blown in the past
With his crutch, his old age, and his wisdom
He whispers knowing this will be the last
And the wind cries "Mary"

The best Hendrix song with no contest if you ask me. I've always loved it and always will.

Read the last stanza and tell me that isn't touching and beautiful! Plus I can easily recall feeling those feelings only not with anyone named Mary.

'Purple Haze' by Jimi Hendrix
'Purple Haze'
by Jimi Hendrix

Purple haze All in my brain
Lately things just don't seem the same
Acting funny but I don't know why
'Scuse me while I kiss the sky

Purple Haze all around
Don't know if I'm climbin up or down
Am I happy or in misery
Whatever it is That girl put a spell on me

Help me Help me

Purple haze all in my eyes
Don't know if it's day or night
You got me blown Blown my mind
Is it tomorrow or the end of time

Help me Help me

One of the most famous Hendrix songs ever. And why not?

It is supposed to be about a dream he had where he walked under water and met Jesus or something. Most just think its drug-based.

'Little Wing' by Jimi Hendrix
'Little Wing'
by Jimi Hendrix

Well she's walkin' through the clouds with a circus mind that's running around.
Butterflies and zebras and moonbeams and fairytales.
That's all she ever thinks about, ridin' with the wind.

When I'm sad she comes to me with a thousand smiles...she gives to me free.
It's alright, she said, it's alright.
Take anything you want from me.
Anything.
Anything.

Fly on Little Wing.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Little Wing.

This song is all kinds of lovely. Jimi's voice is to die for.

This song is supposed to be about festival and encompass the 'free love' time of the 60's.

Fantastic song.

'Hey Joe' by Jimi Hendrix
'Hey Joe'
by Jimi Hendrix

Hey Joe.
Where you goin with that gun in your hand?
Hey Joe.
I said where you goin with that gun in your hand?

I'm goin down to shoot my old lady.
You know I caught her messin round with another man.
Yeah.
I'm goin down to shoot my old lady.
You know I caught her messin around with another man.
Huh. And that ain't too cool.

Uh Hey Joe.
I heard you shot your woman down, shot her down now.
Hey Joe.
I heard you shot your old lady down, shot her down in the ground.
Yeah.

Yes I did, I shot her.
You know I caught her messin round, messin round town.
Yes I did, I shot her.
You know I caught my old lady messin round town.
And I gave her the gun.
I shot her!

Alright. Shoot her one more time for me.

Yeah! Aww, Mmm.

Alright.

Hey Joe I said uh,
Where you gonna run to now? Where you gonna run to?
Hey Joe I said,
Where you gonna run to now?
Where ya, Where you gonna go?

Well Dig! I'm goin way down South.
Way down Mexico way.
Alright.
I'm goin way down South.
Way down where I could be free!

Ain't no one gonna find me.
Ain't no hangman gonna,
He ain't gonna put a rope around me!
You better believe it right now!
I gotta go now.

Hey, hey, Joe!
You better run on down.
Good bye everybody!
Hey, Hey, Joe.

So dude kills his woman for cheating on him and takes off to Mexico in order to not be put to death. Pretty simple idea and song but it personifies 'classic'.

Had something to do with where to find
A pair of jeans to fit her butt
And where to get her toenails cut

So like I go into this like salon place, y'know
And I wanted like to get my toenails done
And the lady like goes, oh my God, your toenails

Except my like my teeth are like too small

'You Were Meant for Me' by Jewel
'You Were Meant for Me'
by Jewel

I hear the clock, it's 6 a.m.
I feel so far away from where I've been
Got my eggs, and my pancakes too
Got maple syrup, everything but you
I break the yolks and make a smiley face
I kinda like it in my brand new place
I wipe the spots off of the mirror
Don't leave the keys in the door
Never put wet towels on the floor anymore 'cause

CHORUS: Dreams last so long
Even after you're gone
I know, that you love me
And soon you will see
You were meant for me
And I was meant for you

Called my momma, she was out for a walk
Consoled a cup of coffee but it didn't wanna talk
So I picked up a paper, it was more bad news
More hearts being broken or people being used
Put on my coat in the pouring rain
Saw a movie it just wasn't the same
'Cause it was happy and I was sad
And it made me miss you oh so bad

CHORUS: Dreams last so long
Even after you're gone
I know, that you love me
And soon you will see
You were meant for me
And I was meant for you

BRIDGE: Go about my business, I'm doing fine
Besides, what would I say if I had you on the line
Same old story, not much to say
Hearts are broken every day

Brush my teeth and put the cap back on
I know you hate it when I leave the light on
I pick up a book, turn the sheets down
Take a deep breath and a good look around

Put on my pj's and hop into bed
I'm half alive but I feel mostly dead
I try and tell myself it'll be all right
I just shouldn't think anymore tonight

CHORUS: Dreams last so long
Even after you're gone
I know, that you love me
And soon you will see
You were meant for me
And I was meant for you

This song is sweet and sad all at the same time. I actually remember when I fell in love with this song but I don't think I'll say as its rather private.

Anywho, I absolutely love this song for so many reasons. Its pretty amazing.

And for the record, Jewel was better and much hotter as a folk singer.

'The Battle of Evermore' by Led Zeppelin
'The Batlle of Evermore'
by Led Zeppelin

Queen of Light took her bow, And then she turned to go,
The Prince of Peace embraced the gloom, And walked the night alone.

Oh, dance in the dark of night, Sing to the morning light.
The dark Lord rides in force tonight, And time will tell us all.

Oh, throw down your plow and hoe, Rest not to lock your homes.

Side by side we wait the might of the darkest of them all.

I hear the horses' thunder down in the valley blow,
I'm waiting for the angels of Avalon, waiting for the eastern glow.

The apples of the valley hold, The seeds of happiness,
The ground is rich from tender care, Repay, do not forget, no, no.
Dance in the dark of night, sing to the morning light.

The apples turn to brown and black, The tyrant's face is red.

Oh the war is common cry, Pick up you swords and fly.
The sky is filled with good and bad that mortals never know.

Oh, well, the night is long the beads of time pass slow,
Tired eyes on the sunrise, waiting for the eastern glow.

The pain of war cannot exceed the woe of aftermath,
The drums will shake the castle wall, the ring wraiths ride in black, Ride on.

Sing as you raise your bow, shoot straighter than before.
No comfort has the fire at night that lights the face so cold.

Oh dance in the dark of night, Sing to the morning light.
The magic runes are writ in gold to bring the balance back. Bring it back.

At last the sun is shining, The clouds of blue roll by,
With flames from the dragon of darkness, the sunlight blinds his eyes.

This song is not about LOTR! Plant is a big fan of the books but wrote this song after reading of the history of Scotland.

This song is great and enchanting though.

'D'yer Maker' by Led Zeppelin
'D'yer Maker'
by Led Zeppelin

Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go oh oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go oh oh oh oh oh
Baby please don't go.

Ay ay ay ay ay ay
All those tears I cry ay ay ay ay ay
All those tears I cry ay ay ay ay ay
Baby please don't go.

*CHORUS

When I read the letter you wrote, it made me mad mad mad
When I read the news that it brought me, t made me sad sad sad.
But I still love you so, I can't let you go
I love you- ooh baby I love you.

Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Every breath I take oh oh oh oh oh
Every move I make oh oh oh oh oh
Baby please don't go.

Ay ay ay ay ay ay
You hurt me to my soul ay ay ay ay ay
You hurt me to my soul ay ay ay ay ay
Darling please don't go.

CHORUS
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go oh oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go oh oh oh oh oh
(Baby please don't go)

The title of this song is pronounced "Jamaica" which is based on a very lame old joke...

But I love the reggae sound of this song. Great song, seriously.

'Nothing to Gein' by Mudvayne
'Nothing to Gein'
by Mudvayne

Cold and silent.
Soiled face, I will wash it all away
with my love. It's all she ever needed,
from me. It's my time to mother
one of my own. In my life, I am so alone.
Left with no one in my life.
I'm so alone.

Life submissiveness.
Hypnotizing the ignorant.
A little boy's best friend is always his mother,
at least that's what she said.
Life of a simple man,
taught that everyone else is dirty,
and their love is meaningless.
I'm just a soiled dirty boy!
Just a soiled dirty boy!

Sheltered life, innocence.
Insulated memories spark reflections of my head.
Duality in my conciousness.
Caught in the war of hemispheres
between love lost in my head.

Mommy, do you still live inside of me.
(Nothing left for me to gain, they're coming to take me far away.)
I'm so lost in my life without any guiding.
(Nothing left for me to gain, they're coming to take me far away.)
Protected me my whole life from everything.
(Nothing left for me to gain, they're coming to take me far away.)
Nailed shut the doors to the shrine,
to screen your dead eyes from me and my

Sickness, mutilate and sew my new clothes
for masquerading.
Aprons of flesh corpse scalped hair with
skin upon my face.

Deliver her remains from her womb of earth.
(Nothing left for me to gain, they're coming to take me far away.)
Prep the rack and tie up for new love's rebirth.
(Nothing left for me to gain, they're coming to take me far away.)
Covert understanding of novice surgery.
(Nothing left for me to gain, they're coming to take me far away.)
I'll focus concentration and only take just what I need

For sickness, I'm masticating,
dancing, and masturbating.
Celebrate in fields of night with skin upon my face!

Life submissiveness.
Hypnotizing the ignorant.
A little boy's best friend is always his mother.
At least that's what she said.
Life of a simple man,
taught that everyone else is dirty,
and their love is meaningless.
I'm so soiled...

If I soak my hands in other's blood am I sick?
(Nothing left for me to gain, they're coming to take me far away.)
If I wash my hands in other's blood am I sick?
(Nothing left for me to gain, they're coming to take me far away.)
If I drench myself in other's blood am I sick?
(Nothing left for me to gain, they're coming to take me far away.)
If I bathe myself in other's blood...

Blame mother for my sickness,
Mutilate and sew my new clothes for masquerading.
Aprons of flesh corpse scalped hair with skin upon my face,
Dance and masturbate in night light by myself!

Nothing is left for me to gain,
they're coming to take me far away! (x4)

Life submissiveness.
Hypnotizing the ignorant.
A little boy's best friend is always his mother,
at least that's what she said.
Life of a simple man,
taught that everyone else is dirty,
and their love is meaningless.
I'm so soiled!

Life submissiveness.
Hypnotizing the ignorant.
A little boy's best friend is always his mother,
at least that's what she said.
Life of a simple man,
taught that everyone else is dirty,
and their love is meaningless.
I'm so soiled!

Life submissiveness.
Hypnotizing the ignorant.
A little boy's best friend is always his mother,
at least that's what she said.
Life of a simple man,
taught that everyone else is dirty,
and their love is meaningless.
I'm so soiled!

Soiled! {Echo until end}

This song is about Ed Gein who is (in my eyes at least) often mis-labled as a serial killer though he only killed like two people.
He was a twisted fuck though. He inspired the movies Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw (the re-make is shit and doesn't count), and Silence of the Lambs.

If you want to learn more about the strange things that can occur in a human's mind, read up on this guy.

'Death Blooms' by Mudvayne
'Death Blooms'
by Mudvayne

Cold seems crippling, lame meander through corridors.
Aroma's thick with age, mark off the day.
Reflections of my life are fading.

Pull me out of body, don't want it, don't want in.
Feeble frail and rotting, descending. I'm lost in
a structure that's collapsing, don't want it, cast into.
Maker take the body, don't want it, it wants me.

Past has found it's place. Salvation is no more.
Will God accept my peace? Bleached will pardon me.
Reflections of my life are fading.

Pull me out of body, don't want it, don't want in.
Feeble frail and rotting, descending. I'm lost in
a structure that's collpasing, don't want it, cast into.
Maker take the body, don't want it, it wants me!

I just want to run, fly kites, wrestle, jump and play.
Swim through waves that crash to shore.
Memories in me, cocooned in misery.

Yeah, I'm sick and tired of embracing reflections of past time.
Recieve me or cast me away.
God, please take me away!
Resistance, futile.
Suicidal ideas I will crucify my own being.
Satisfy selfish needs fuck the deities.
Justify my own right to what's waiting for me!

On the other side...the time has come...lock and load...

I'm coming (I'm coming) I'm coming (I'm coming)
I'm coming (I'm coming) I'm coming home!!!
Aaaaaaahhhhhh!!!

Pull me out of body, don't want it, don't want in.
Pull me out of body, don't want it, don't want in.
Pull me out of body, don't want it, don't want in.
Feeble frail and rotting, descending. I'm lost in
a structure that's collapsing, descending, don't want it.
Maker take the body, don't want it, don't want in.
Pull me out of body, don't want it, don't want in.
Feeble frail and rotting, descending. I'm lost in
a structure that's collapsing, descending, don't want it.
Maker take the body, don't want it, it wants me!!!

I just want to run, fly kites, wrestle, jump and play.
Swim through waves that crash to shore.
Memories in me, cocooned in misery.
The darkness overcomes. Soul soars to the other plain.
Existence past the door, I sail through purgatory's bay.

I asked a God for poison. Cradle me!
Sown to my dreams, souls searching.
Death blossoms where clouds lie over me!!
Held in God's hands, death blooming...

'Dark for fear of failure,
an inner gloom as wide as an eye and fermenting
roiling hate, death grip in my veins unveiling rancid petals
flowering forth foul nectar, the space between a blink and a tear...
Death Blooms...'

This song is about an old person slowly dying as others seem to not much care.

The content of this song is pretty dark but the words themselves are actually beautifully written.

I've seen things like this happen many times before so... yeah.

This song and the next ones until otherwise noted were all posted on 3/22/2006.

'Sharpshooter' by Motorhead
'Sharpshooter'
by Motorhead

Like a sniper, I've got my sights on you,
Windscreen wiper, there ain't no spoiling my view,
Silver bandoleer, my profession's clear,
Sharpshooter
Infra red vein, don't you come out at night,
Infra red chain, you're gonna buy your life,
Silver pistol too, with a notch for you,
Sharpshooter

You're the contract, I'm gonna nail you down,
I'm the contact, with your final round,
And I'm stalking you, and that ain't all I do,
Sharpshooter

This song is interesting... I was looking for another Motorhead song to post and saw this one and thought of Bret 'The Hitman' Hart and read it and was... interested in it.

So I posted it. Motorhead isn't a subtle band so... read it and you'll get it, lol.

'Cupid' by Sam Cooke
'Cupid'
by Sam Cooke

Cupid draw back your bow
And let your arrow go
Straight to my lover's heart for me
For me. . .
Cupid please hear my cry
And let your arrow fly
Straight to my lover's heart for me

Now I don't mean to bother you but I'm in a distress
There's danger of me losing all of my happiness
For I love a girl who doesn't know I exist
And this you can fix

So...

Cupid draw back your bow
And let your arrow go
Straight to my lover's heart for me
Nobody but me. . .
Cupid please hear my cry
And let your arrow fly
Straight to my lover's heart for me

Now, Cupid if your arrow makes her love strong for me
I promise I will lover her until eternity
I know between the two of us her heart we can steal
Help me if you will

So. . .

Cupid draw back your bow
And let your arrow go
Straight to my lover's heart for me
Cupid please hear my cry
And let your arrow fly
Straight to my lover's heart for me

Cupid, don't you hear me?
Calling you
I need you
Cupid
Help me

Very sad and very good song by a legend that was ripped from us in a horrible and untimely manner.

But this song is among the best. I really do love it, people. And why wouldn't you? Who hasn't felt that way before, eh?

'Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds' by The Beatles
'Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds'
by The Beatles

Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.
Cellophane flowers of yellow and green,
Towering over your head.
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes,
And she's gone.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds.
Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain
Where rocking horse people eat marshmellow pies,
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers,
That grow so incredibly high.
Newspaper taxis appear on the shore,
Waiting to take you away.
Climb in the back with your head in the clouds,
And you're gone.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Picture yourself on a train in a station,
With plasticine porters with looking glass ties,
Suddenly someone is there at the turnstyle,
The girl with the kaleidoscope eyes.

This song isn't about LSD but it sure as hell could be, lol.

It is actually about a painting that John Lennon's son brought home of his friend Lucy.

I love this song, though.

This post and all others unless noted were all posted on 3/21/2006. I've been busy.

'Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me)' by The Temptations
'Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me)'
by The Temptations

Each day through my window I watch her as she passes by
I say to myself, "You're such a lucky guy"
To have a girl like her is truly a dream come true
Out of all the fellas in the world, she belongs to you

But it was just my imagination,
Running away with me
It was just my imagination,
Running away with me

Soon we'll be married and raise a family
A cozy little home, out in the country, with two children, maybe three

I tell you I can visualize it all
This couldn't be a dream, for too real it all seems

But it was just my imagination, once again
Running away with me
Tell you, it was just my imagination,
Running away with me

Every night, on my knees I pray
"Dear lord, hear my plea
Don't ever let another take her love from me
Or I will surely die"
Her love is heavenly
When her arms enfold me
I hear her tender rhapsody
But in reality, she doesn't even know me

It was just my imagination, once again
Running away with me
Oh, tell you, it was just my imagination,
Running away with me

I never met her, but I can't forget her

Just my imagination, yeah, yeah, yeah
Running away with me
Oooh, just my imagination,
Running away with me
(fade)

This song is probably the saddest song I've ever heard in my life. Its a great song but it really is sooo sad to see someone pine in such a manner.

I've felt like that all too often unfortunately. To be so in love with someone who hardly even notices you is a miserable thing.

However, I both envy and pity those who have never had that kind of a feeling.

As a note, this post and all up to the first ICP post were all actually posted together 'cause I've been working.

'Only the Good Die Young' by Billy Joel
'Only the Good Die Young'
by Billy Joel

Come out, Virginia, don't let me wait
You Catholic girls start much too late
Ah, but sooner or later, it comes down to fate
I might as well will be the one
Well, they showed you a statue and told you to pray
They built you a temple and locked you away
Ah, but they never told you the price that you pay
For things that you might have done....
Only the good die young

That's what I said
Only the good die young
Only the good die young

You might have heard I run with a dangerous crowd
We ain't too pretty, we ain't too proud
We might be laughing a bit too loud
Ah, but that never hurt no one
So, come on, Virginia, show me a sign
Send up a signal, I'll throw you the line
The stained-glass curtain you're hiding behind
Never lets in the sun
Darling, only the good die young

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa
I tell you only the good die young
Only the good die young

You got a nice white dress and a party on your confirmation
You got a brand new soul,
Mm, and a cross of gold
But, Virginia, they didn't give you quite enough information
You didn't count on me
When you were counting on your rosary

Oh-oh-oh
They say there's a heaven for those who will wait
Some say it's better, but I say it ain't
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints
Sinners are much more fun....
You know that only the good die young

Whoa whoa, baby
I tell you only the good die young
Only the good die young

SAXOPHONE SOLO

You say your mother told you all that I could give you was a reputation
Ah, she never cared for me
But did she ever say a prayer for me?

Oh-oh-oh
Come out, come out, come out, Virginia, don't let me wait
You Catholic girls start much too late
Sooner or later, it comes down to fate
I might as well will be the one
You know that only the good die young

I tell you, baby
You know that only the good die young
Only the good die young
Only the good
Only the good die young

I love the energy of this song among other things. I was addicted to this song the first time I heard it (and that was only recently).

It is essentially about a guy trying to convince a Catholic girl to have sex with him but that doesn't make it a bad song! =P

This song is tits. Seriously.

'Don't Stop Believin'' by Journey
'Don't Stop Believin''
by Journey

Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere

A singer in a smoky room
The smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on...

Strangers waitin', up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searchin' in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hidin', somewhere in the night

Workin' hard to get my fill,
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice,
Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on...

Strangers waitin', up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searchin' in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hidin', somewhere in the night

(3x)
Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feelin'
Streetlight people

All that I said about the previous song applies to this one. Only this song also makes me think of 'Family Guy'.

Great song though.

'Oh Sherrie' by Steve Perry
'Oh Sherrie'
by Steve Perry

You should've been gone
Knowing how I made you feel
And I should've been gone
After all your words of steel
Oh, I must've been a dreamer
And I must've been someone else
And we should've been over

Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on
Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on

Oh, I want to let go
You'll go on hurtin' me
You'd be better off alone
If I'm not who you thought I'd be

But you know that there's a fever
Oh, that you'll never find nowhere else
Can't you feel it burnin'
On-and-on

Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on
Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on
Oh, Sherrie

---- Instrumental Interlude ----

Oh, Sherrie

But I should've been gone
Long ago, far away
And you should've been gone
Now I know you'd lie
You'll stay

Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on
Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on

Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on

Hold on
Oh, Sherrie

This song and Steve Perry may be dissed on all the time and most of it may be deserved but if you claim to have never sang along if you've heard it then you're full of shit. You know you love it, bitches.

Anywho, the song makes me think of the movie 'Basketball'.

'Another Love Song' by Insane Clown Posse
'Another Love Song'
by Insane Clown Posse

Yeah, I mean I hear what your sayin
I mean you got carried away in the moment
And I could forgive you.....I could do that
I could do anything if I wanted to

I could buy you a Lexus Truck with a white leather interior (I could)
I could kill off some bears and dogs and shit
Just to make you a fur coat
I could love you and treat you with class (Oh yeah)
And have babies fallin all out your ass
But thinkin about that
I feel I'd rather kill you
Cause I got you in my car you ain't goin no were bitch your dead

I'd rather cut that neck in half
I'd rather choke out that bitch ass
I'd rather chop and never stop
Because you fucked my homie
I'd rather cut that neck in half
I'd rather choke out that bitch ass
I'd rather chop and never stop
Because you fucked my homie

I could take all the face paint off
And get a real job workin for your dad
I would rather take a 10 pound axe
And stick it in your daddy's forehead
I could let you move into my house
You'd fuck the neighbor everytime I go out
And whipe his nut on my pillow (oh)
But I think I'd rather kill you
Cause we parked here all alone on this here dark allyway, hey

I'd rather cut that neck in half
I'd rather choke out that bitch ass
I'd rather chop and never stop
Because you fucked my homey
I'd rather cut that neck in half
I'd rather choke out that bitch ass
I'd rather chop and never stop
Because you fucked my homey

I'm the one that killed your precious cat
And stuffed 'em in your fuckin mail box (Whistle)
If I only hadn't cut off my hair
I'd choke you with all my dred locks
When I scream at the moon everynight
You shoulda known somethin just ain't right
Cause I'm gonna slap you (bitch)
And then I'm going to kill you
Cause the moon told me to and it's watching us right now

I'd rather cut that neck in half
I'd rather choke out that bitch ass
I'd rather chop and never stop
Because you fucked my homey
I'd rather cut that neck in half
I'd rather choke out that bitch ass
I'd rather chop and never stop
Because you fucked my homey

I could go back to school instead
And try and get my diploma
I'd much rather bang your head on the wall
Untill you fall into a coma
Cause I can't get you outta my head
I'd cut my head off, but then I would be dead
And I ain't the only muthafucka that's dying
So let's just die together

I'd rather cut that neck in half
I'd rather choke out that bitch ass
I'd rather chop and never stop
Because you fucked my homey (Let's just die together)
I'd rather cut that neck in half
I'd rather choke out that bitch ass
I'd rather chop and never stop
Because you fucked my homey (Let's just die together)
I'd rather cut that neck in half
I'd rather choke out that bitch ass
I'd rather chop and never stop
Because you fucked my homey (Let's just die together)
I'd rather cut that neck in half
I'd rather choke out that bitch ass
I'd rather chop and never stop
Because you fucked my homey (Let's just die together)

Another ICP song. This song is probably the best love song ever... lol. Its so funny, though. And if you say otherwise, you'd do good to broaden your sense of humor.

'Down With the Clown' by Insane Clown Posse
'Down With the Clown'
by Insane Clown Posse

This one goes out to the ninjas
Thats been down since Carnival of Carnage
Nah, fuck that, since Dog Beats
Nah, fuck that, since Basement Cuts, motherfucker

How long will the juggalos be down with me?
How long till they forget me, check it out
What if I grew another fucking head
And his name was Violent Ed
And he head butt me every time I cussed
I would need two microphones when I bust
Would you show me love even with another head
Or would you be like, "Fuck you and Ed"
Or what if I sold out like a bitch
And took the make-up off and went soft, eww
Called myself Detroit Southwest Lover
And put my ugly ass face on the album cover
With R & B top ten hits
And we had Jodeci singing all over our shit (aaahhhh!!!!)
Fuck that, though, yo, I'm a juggalo
So don't forget me like you did with milenko

What about when the world's like fuck us kill us, what will you be? (down)
What about when I'm 103, what will you be? (down, down)
What about when the world's like fuck us kill us, what will you be? (down)
What about when the carnival comes to your town? (i'm a be down with the clown)

How long will you be down with a ghetto puppet
I say I'm sick in the nugget and you love it
I ate a dead body, I ain't proud of it
I told you all about it, and you all applauded (HEY!!)
I got problems, I'm haunted by a carnival
I could run and tell a doctor, but what for
I just put it on tape with a fat beat
And make a quick buck, I'm like fuck
I could of came out sportin some Hammer pants
Kick-steppin with Shaggs, and tryin to dance
Making mom happy, keeping it soft
I'd rather grab my dick and tell your mom to fuck off!
I know then you'd probably start to trip
And swing at me, but hit Violent Ed in the lip
Look I don't even know what I'm trying to say
Just don't forget me like you did with Robbie

What about when the world's like fuck us kill us, what will you be? (down)
What about when I'm 103, what will you be? (down, down)
What about when the world's like fuck us kill us, what will you be? (down)
What about when the carnival comes to your town? (i'm a be down with the clown)

I'm a be down, I'm a be down
Down with the clown till I'm dead in the ground(13x)

I've always loved this song. I've been 'down with the clown' for many years now and I'm certain I'll be down 'til I'm dead in the ground.

ICP fucking rules!

'We Shall Be Free' by Garth Brooks
'We Shall Be Free'
by Garth Brooks

This ain't comin' from no prophet
Just an ordinary man
When I close my eyes I see
The way this world shall be
When we all walk hand in hand

When the last child cries for a crust of bread
When the last man dies for just words that he said
When there's shelter over the poorest head
We shall be free

When the last thing we notice is the color of skin
And the first thing we look for is the beauty within
When the skies and the oceans are clean again
Then we shall be free

We shall be free
We shall be free
Stand straight, and walk proud
'Cause we shall be free

When we're free to love anyone we choose
When this world's big enough for all different views
When we all can worship from our own kind of pew
Then we shall be free
We shall be free

We shall be free
Have a little faith
Hold out
'Cause we shall be free

And when money talks for the very last time
And nobody walks a step behind
When there's only one race and that's mankind
Then we shall be free

We shall be free
We shall be free
Stand straight, walk proud, have a little faith, hold out
We shall be free

We shall be free
We shall be free
Stand straight, stand straight, have a little faith, walk proud
We shall be free

We shall be free
We shall be free
Stand straight, walk proud
We shall be free

I remember back to when I was rather young and I can recall loving this song and as I grew older, so did my love for it.

This song is about people deserving to be free for no reason other than the fact that they are human. Its pretty simple.

Now on to why I posted this song...

Again, I was in a rut and couldn't come up with what to post. So I'm sitting here at the corner balcony on the second floor of the Bahama and I hear the clicking of boots coming down the sidewalk.
Now I'm not niave. I'm pretty damned sure this lass was a prostitute judging by her manner of dress, the way she carried herself, her being alone at night while walking in one of the biggest prostitution areas in Myrtle Beach.
But this one struck me as different than the others I've seen and been propositioned by in the past. She was kind of hot. And not just slightly above average hot like some I've seen. She was hot, looked to be in good shape, seemed physically clean and seemed to be doing pretty well. She was in a leather Harley jacket and dark blue jeans with female bike boots on and oi vey she had a body (the lower half was exceptionally nice).

So I get to thinking that she might actually be choosing this life instead of being forced into it by poverty, etc. and I was thinking that it would be a great sense of freedom if you could sell your body because you wanted to sell your body and not just because you had to survive.

So to me this probable postitute was a positive thing. If I'm right about her and she truly is happy then I envy her.

Is that silly, wrong, offensive, etc.? If so, I'm sorry. But its just how I think I suppose.

This post is doing this song no justice, though. I posted about something that is only remotely related to this song I guess but I see freedom as freedom and almost always good.

'Hemmorage (In My Hands)' by Fuel
'Hemmorage (In My Hands)'
by Fuel

Memories are just where you laid them
Drag the waters till the depths give up their dead
What did you expect to find
Was there something you left behind
Don't you remember anything I said when I said

Chorus
Don't fall away
And leave me to myself
Don't fall away
And leave love bleeding in my hands
In my hands again
And leave love bleeding in my hands
In my hands
Love lies bleeding

Oh, hold me now I feel contagious
Am I the only place that you've left to go
She cries her life is like
Some movie black and white
Dead actors faking lines
Over and over and over again she cries

Chorus

And I wanted
You turned away
You don't remember
But I do
You never even tried

Chorus

This song is tits!

I was sort of at a loss for a song to post the past few days but then I saw some dude do this song on 'American Idol' for the few seconds I saw it tonight.

But I love it though. It is so beautiful and tragic. The video is the same.

Sorry I'm low on time tonight again. I was on the phone and the battery on the laptop is dying.

More soon.
