'Du Hast' by Rammstein
'Du Hast / You Have'
by Rammstein

Du
You
du hast (haßt)*
you have (hate)
du hast mich
you have me
(4 x)
du hast mich gefragt
you have asked me
du hast mich gefragt
you have asked me
du hast mich gefragt,
you have asked me,
und ich hab nichts gesagt
and I have said nothing

Willst du bis der Tod euch scheidet
Do you want, until death do you part,
treu ihr sein für alle Tage
to be faithful to her for all of your days

Nein, nein
No, no

Willst du bis der Tod euch scheidet
Do you want, until death do you part,
treu ihr sein für alle Tage
to be faithful to her for all of your days

Nein, nein
No, no

Willst du bis zum Tod der Scheide,
Do you want until the death of the vagina,
sie lieben auch in schlechten Tagen
to love her, even in bad times

Nein, nein
No, no

*Note: This is a play on two German verbs: du hast (you have) and du haßt (you hate), spelled differently but pronounced the same way.
Also, depending on your font settings on your broswer, some of the characters in the German version may not show up as they should.

The English translation of these lyrics are italicized, by the way.

Anywho, I'm not saying this is how I feel about anyone or anything, only that I find it to be a very interesting song.

The song is about marriage and is apparently poking at the German wedding vows and instead of saying 'Ja' he says 'nein' so... yeah. Ya know?

But as I said, it is an interesting song. It has been in my head on and off for like a month now so I'm posting it today yet again to get it out of my head, lol.

What do you all think of the song, though?
